We would much prefer starting the season assuming restrictions and eventually increasing roster and division sizes (hopefully) than starting a season without restrictions and asking teams on short notice to trim rosters, pay full fees, and potentially play in much smaller divisions without re-seeding.
Alternate Third Jersey
We will also be including a set of custom designed alternate third jerseys for every team. Given this is a historical time in our lives, we want everyone to have a positive souvenir to look back on these crazy times. This jersey will be designed however you want with an "SHHL Cohort Cup 2020" patch.
Planning for winter season is being done under current COVID-19 restrictions. Adjustments may be made further along the season should restrictions be eased or lifted.
Cohorts: As of right now, the province of Alberta is restricting sports cohorts to groups of 50 people. This includes all players and officials. Under Phase 2 guidelines, individuals should participate in only one sports cohort. This means that currently, players will not be permitted to play in multiple divisions in the SHHL until restrictions have eased. Players will be allowed to spare on teams within their own division.
Roster Size: At this time, we are assuming current provincial guidelines and limiting roster sizes to 12 including goaltender. This is to allow at least 4 teams to be in each division as well as officials while meeting the 50 person cohort limit. This may be re-evaluated and roster sizes increased should restrictions ease or be lifted.
Re-seeding: A two week break with a practice ice time for each team will be incorporated into schedules between sessions. The two week break is required at this time in order to break cohorts and re-seed teams appropriately.

Every game will includes one referee (due to cohort restrictions), a time-keeper, and warmup pucks.

Discounted Fees (minus alternate jersey) - $8200
10% Deposit due AUGUST followed by
six monthly payments of fee balance.

Individual (vs team invoicing) to rostered players available (includes processing fee).
